5.1 Edit/Delete Recipient
 

Find Object

When choosing Edit/Delete Recipient you may search for an object in Global Address List, and after finding it, you may edit it (change its attributes) or delete it. The initial page of Edit/Delete Recipient appears:

In front of each object there are ID brackets identifying the type of the object:

 

After selecting a certain object the Administrator could edit or delete it.

If you want to change the attributes of a certain object select it and press Edit Object button.

 

Edit Object

        By choosing Edit Object the Administrator of IMI Mailbox WEB Console gets access to the attributes of the object. If the object is a Mailbox, you are well acquainted with the possibilities of its administration. (look at Personal Data Update). The rest of the objects (Distribution List and Custom Recipient) will be discussed below.

         

Delete Object

By choosing Delete Object the Administrator can delete a certain object.
If it is a Mailbox, the following window appears:

The window will show you the Display Name of the object and its full Exchange address.

 

Attention:
If YES Delete Primary Windows NT Account is chosen, the user with which this Mailbox is associated won’t be able to use network and system resources any more. Think carefully before deleting it. The deletion of Primary Windows NT Account is irreversible.

 

If the object is a Distribution List and Custom Recipient, the following window appears:

The window will show you the Display Name of the object, its full Exchange address and its class as well.
